The Team · Georgetown, TX

Two owners. Every session.

The Lab is two owners and the people who train with them. No rotating staff, no group classes — the coach who writes your program is the coach in the room with you.

AJ

Training written for one person, not a class.

AJ runs the performance side of The Lab. Every client starts with a movement assessment — how you hinge, squat, carry and breathe — and the program is built from what that shows. Nothing is handed over from a template.

Sessions are one-on-one and fully supervised. Load goes up in steps small enough that joints and confidence keep pace, and the plan is rewritten as your week, your sport and your body change.

“If we can't explain why a set is in your program, it doesn't belong there.”

AJ — Co-Owner · Performance Coach
Best for
  • Coming back to training after years off
  • Golfers and pickleball players who want to move better
  • First-time strength work with real coaching
Julio, Co-Owner · Recovery & Stretch at The Lab

Julio

Range you can actually use — then the recovery to hold it.

Julio leads assisted stretching and recovery. His stretch sessions are hands-on and specific: hips, hamstrings, shoulders and the upper back that carries a desk, a car and a phone all day.

He also writes the plunge and sauna protocols that sit around your training week, so recovery is scheduled work with a purpose instead of a reward you skip.

“Mobility is only useful if it shows up in how you move under load.”

Julio — Co-Owner · Recovery & Stretch
Best for
  • Desk-bound clients with tight hips and shoulders
  • Active adults managing stiffness between sessions
  • Athletes who want recovery built into the plan
How we coach

The rules the whole studio runs on

Small studio, fixed standards. These don't change from client to client.

[01]

Assess, then program

Every plan starts with a movement assessment. What you can't do yet decides what we train first.

[02]

One coach, start to finish

You work with the owner who wrote your program — every session, every visit.

[03]

Recovery is part of the work

Stretching, cold plunge and infrared sauna are scheduled into the week, not sold as extras.

[04]

Progress you can measure

Loads, range and session notes are tracked, so changes are based on what actually happened.

Next step

Train with the owners.

Tell us what you're training for and we'll pair you with AJ or Julio — or call the studio and ask us directly.
